Hi,
I work for a petroleum company interested in bioremediation of oil
contaminated ground. One of the products we are considering is sold as
freeze dried bacteria. Is it possible to freeze dry bacteria and expect
them to survive? It does not seem possible for a dehydrated organism to
maintain metabolic funtions. Is this possible??
TIA
