I was making a deposit at my local blood bank, when I asked the nurse
about adapting to the 6200 foot altitude.
She showed me a text that indicated that 2,3-dyphosphoglycerate levels
affect oxygen transfer to the cells.
The text did not show the precursors or regulatory agents for this
chemical, although a chart did indicate that it was sensitive to the
blood PH.
Does anyone have information about this ?
