Yes, the flux-control coefficient is the same as Kacser's Z sensitivity
coefficient. The terminology was standardised in
Burns, J.A., Cornish-Bowden, A., Groen, A.K., Heinrich, R., Kacser, H.,
Porteous, J.W., Rapoport, S.M., Rapoport T.A., Stucki, J.W., Tager, J.M.,

Bob, you are needed here! MCA has been slow penetrating the Us but I think
we have now gone past the point of no return. See my "MCA Web" at
http://gepasi.dbs.aber.ac.uk/metab/mca_refs.htm
This is not a complete reference but maybe will help you with the
terminology. The page of references may especially be of interest to you.
Athel Cornish-Bowden also has web pages on MCA but his site seems to be
down. The URLs for this are

Phil Butler from UMIST lectures a course on MCA and he's also got MCA on his
web pages:

We know each other from several MCA related conferences. For a while there
was a sense of frustration as it seemed the US researchers were not
attracted to this analytical formalism. This seems to be changing now (and I
hope you'll help this trend)
