To my understanding, the reaction should be read the other way round:
1. Enz-OH + Glucose-1,6-bisPhoshate + free Glucose-6-Phosphate
to Enz-OH + Glucose-1,6-bisPhoshate + bound Glucose-6-Phosphate
2. The phosphate group 6 from Glucose-1,6-bisPhoshate is transferred to
position 1 of Glucose-6-Phosphate , probably via an Enz-O-Phosphate
intermediate,
resulting in Enz-OH + Glucose-1,6-bisPhoshate + bound Glucose-1-Phosphate
3. Glucose-1-Phosphate is released giving
Enz-OH + Glucose-1,6-bisPhoshate + free Glucose-1-Phosphate
The net reaction is:
Glucose-6-phosphate to Glucose-1-phosphate.
This reaction is fully reversible. The decision of direction depends on the
bound monophosphate.
