Postgraduate Research Assistant in Metabolic Biochemistry
Grade of Post: Researcher A (Pounds 9603-13296)
Responsible to: Dr D A Fell, Deputy Head, BMS
Overall Purpose of Post - to assist with research on the project:
Identification of Sites of Metabolic Control by Coupled Changes in Flux and
Metabolite Concentrations. (Further details on request).
Main Duties
1. To carry out research as directed by Dr David Fell into the control
of glycolytic rate
and glycolytic intermediates in cells whilst observing the requirements of
the Safety
Policy of the school.
2. To maintain adequate records of work carried out, on paper and on
spreadsheets.
3. To assist in the preparation of reports and publications relating
to the research.
