I'm looking for experimental examples of protein burden
caused by enzyme overexpression and leading to negative
flux.
Snoep et al. (1995, Microbiology 141:2329-2337) showed
data on negative glycolytic flux in Zymomonas.
Also Quick et al. (1992, Planta 188:522-531) found some
negative flux control coefficients for Rubisco in tobacco
with altered nitrogen supply.
It will be very helpfull for me if someone heared about
other examples of protein burden...
