Not long after I announced the existence of a web site with references
to papers, books, etc. on metabolic control analysis the server where it
resided went out of service, and the new one wasn't up and running again
until a few weeks ago, so it may be useful to mention that this site
again exists, at http://ir2lcb.cnrs-mrs.fr/lcbpage/athel/mcarefs.htm.
It is still far from perfect, but is improved in a number of ways: the
files are smaller and should load faster, and the use of frames allows
particular authors to be located much more quickly and conveniently. It
is still possible to use a browser that does not recognize frames (I
have checked this with Mosaic), albeit without a correspondingly quick
way of navigating.
If you find this useful, please report errors and suggest additions. My
own literature searching is sufficiently dilatory that the list is
unlikely to be kept up to date if users don't send suggestions.
Incidentally, I apologize if anyone has again had trouble reaching our
web site this week. Autumn arrived abruptly on Monday, and Marseilles
had about 80 mm of rain in an hour that evening; the drains couldn't
cope, with the result that the basement of this building (where the
server is located) was flooded to a depth of 30 cm. Fortunately the
computers weren't damaged, but problems with the power supply meant they
had to be disconnected for a couple of days.
