Readers of the news groups on protein analysis
(http://www.bio.net/hypermail/PROTEIN-ANALYSIS/9812/) and bio-forum
(http://www.bio.net/hypermail/BIOFORUM/9812/) will have seen some
discussion this month under the above heading suggesting that it might be a
good idea to create a news group devoted to enzyme kinetics. This arose
from questions posed earlier
(http://www.bio.net/hypermail/PROTEIN-ANALYSIS/9812/0050.html
and http://www.bio.net/hypermail/BIOFORUM/9812/0093.html).
I'm in two minds about whether this is a good idea: on the one hand if this
group were a bit more lively it could certainly cover this topic; on the
other hand one could argue that BTK and MCA are rather more specialized
than the sort of things people might want to discuss in an enzyme kinetics
group.
What do you think?
