During the period I was away last month (12-27 September) there were
various problems with our web server that made it impossible for some
potential applicants for MCA99 to get connected. In view of this the
deadline has been extended to 7th October (Wednesday), even though we now
have more than enough applications. After that it will be _too late_,
unless you work in a country for which there are special arrangements laid
down by NATO (i.e. Portugal, Greece or Turkey), or unless you work in a
Cooperation Partnership country not currently represented (e.g. Czechia,
Latvia, Roumania, Ukraine, Slovenia...) _and_ we continue to be short of
applications from these countries.
This week and until 7th October I shall check at least twice every working
day that the web server is running and that the application form
(http://ir2lcb.cnrs-mrs.fr/~athel/apply.htm) is accessible.
