Just a short technical note. As some of you will remember, we run an
anonymous FTP server at Oxford Brookes with some simulation software etc.
The address of this site was:
ftp://bmsdarwin.brookes.ac.uk
Bmsdarwin was an ancient Sun 3, which we have finally shut down, and the FTP
server has been moved to
ftp://bmshuxley.brookes.ac.uk
Thus, if you refer to this in your web pages, please use the new address
from now on. It is not critical to edit your old web pages in a hurry,
because the old address has been redfined to point at the new one for the
time being.
Incidentally, if you make your web link:
ftp://bmshuxley.brookes.ac.uk/pub/software/
your users' browsers should display the directory contents.
