>From my remarks based on Athel's MCA FAQ page ("it has been found useful
to decrease the emphasis on mechanism"), you can guess that my knowledge
of the MCA literature is very scant. To my defense, I did attempt to
educate myself about the current state of MCA from something other than
primary literature (that is, from books and conference proceedings
instead of scattered journal articles). Unfortunately, those efforts
are not being very successful. For example, this monograph ...

Any chance that at least some of this material would be available
online? I understand that Kluwer is a commercial entity, so obviously
they are in the business of *selling* this information. At the same
time, purchasing the title for my personal library through a bookseller,
just to get a feel for the developments in MCA, is not practical. These
kinds of books tend to be very expensive (hardly ever purchased by
individuals) and there are already too many other titles on my letter to
Santa Claus.
