I had a TRH stimulation test done and the thryoid medication injection they
gave me for it caused severe depression for about a week. Also, the injection I
received for the cortisol stimulation test for the adrenals caused depression
and crying for an hour or two, then my mood came back up to normal.
Has anyone ever heard of this before? What might cause a reaction like this to
a simple hormone injection?
P.S. The test results were both normal. This doesn't make any sense. If the
results were normal, why would I have such a bad reaction?
