Scamp 2.5G is now an old version, and wasn't released for Unix. Also
'bmsdarwin' is an obsolete address; we redirected the hostname, but the
directory structure has changed. Currently the brookes website is at:
http://mudshark.brookes.ac.uk/sware.html
and an old version of Scamp at
ftp://mudshark.brookes.ac.uk/pub/software/ibmpc/scamp/
but we haven't kept that up to date.
There is a link there to the latest version of Scamp for PCs, with the
WinScamp shell on Herbert Sauro's site, though it's just as quick to look
for WinScamp and Sauro in Google. Herbert is no longer developing Scamp;
his current project is the Jarnac simulator. If you want a simulation
program for Unix, then take a look at Mark Poolman's ScrumPy on the
mudshark site.
