The University of Manchester's distance learning course in Computational
Systems Biology will begin again in October 2011. The course will
provide an introduction to the computational methods for analysis and
simulation of biochemical networks. It will cover :

*	mathematical representations of biochemical networks;
*	simulation of the dynamics of biochemical models using differential
equations and stochastic methods;
*	analysis of the structural properties of biochemical networks;
*	analysis of the steady state control properties of biochemical networks;
*	calibration of biochemical models through parameter estimation techniques;
*	operation and inter-operation of software for systems biology.

You will find links to further information on all of our distance
courses here :

have questions about any course, please contact the tutor named on the
course information page. For general queries about the programme, and
to apply, please mail our office for Advanced Professional Education
