infrared microscopy?

Infrared video microscopy is used in electrophysiological circles to
allow visualization of neurons in 300 um thick brain slices.  The
reduced light scattering enhances of IR illumination makes the cells
easier to see.  Anybody tried this on looling into adult worms?
