Hi,
I'm not a worm biologist but I have a specific biological problem which my
perhaps be best addressed in C. elegans. Is it possible to produce mutants
in C.elegans in which a specific gene is knocked out? I do not require the
knockout to be achieved with a specific sequence modification and don't
really care if it is by transposon insertion or whatever. If knockout is
possible, it will be worth me making the effort to clone the elegans
homolog of my gene of interest and attempt to interest someone into
targetting it.
Many thanks.
