restriction enzyme mediated integration

Has anybody tried to interrupt random worm genes by micro-injection of a restriction
enzyme plus linear DNA with the appropriately staggered ends?

I assume that this approach, so useful in Dictyostelium, has not worked
in C. elegans anywhere, or we would have heard, but I am interested in the negative results:
what precisely has been tried, and by whom? Gonad injection, or oocyte nuclei?
Concentration of reagents? Marker gene used? Numbers of injected worms, etc.

Thanks for any comments or advise.
