Myxomycetes (Slime Moulds)

I know that this is not really on the subject of your worms, but I was 
hoping that someone might have an idea for me.

I am looking for a protocol for PCR methods on Myxomycetes.  
I am looking for some DNA extraction techniques and primers that will 
work on the Myxomycetes.
If you can be of any assistance, please let me know.
