OP50 follow up

Hi,

 has anyone ever tried to transform the OP50 strain with any plasmid 
containing an antibiotic resistant marker?

Yes - it transforms easily with pUC19 / Bluescipt type plasmids
and is then resistant to Amp as expected.  However, I believe it is
"blue" with or without a plasmid, since it is wild-type for B-gal,
and it doesn't transform as efficiently as MC1061, DH5a, etc.
