Tom Blumenthal's lab at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center
in Denver is searching for a permanent, full-time research assistant.  The
lab focuses on the molecular biology of trans-splicing and operons in C.
elegans.  (See web site:

The position can start as early as July 14, 1997.  It requires a
Bacalaureate degree and undergraduate background in biology (including
genetics) and chemistry.  We prefer someone with research experience and
knowledge of molecular biology and microscopy techniques.  The research
assistant will perform a variety of molecular biology and genetic
experiments and will be involved in lab management.  Ability to work
independently and as part of a research team are essential.  Applicants
