worm DNA preps

I am making a frozen library of mutagenized worms for reverse
genetics. To use this library most efficiently it will be necessary
to do a lot of worm DNA preps (1000, for instance). If possible I
would like DNA sufficiently pure to be cut efficiently by restriction
enzymes. Since I don't want to do 1000 phenol extractions, I'm
thinking about using one of the DNA purification kits (Wizard, Qiagen,
Promega...) that can be obtained in a 96-well format.
Does anyone have any experience purifying worm DNA with one of these
systems (not necessarily in 96-well format)?
Thanks,
