We have a constant problem with secondary (anti-mouse) Ab's that react with a
limited number of worm proteins in the absence of primary Ab. We've frequently
had this problem with rabbit anti-mouse from various suppliers and have now
encountered the problem with goat anti-mouse. I presume this occurs because the
rabbits (or goats) are infected with some kind of nematode parasite.
Does anyone have a favorite supplier that reliably provides anti-mouse Ab with
little anti-worm reactivity? Does anyone have experience (or a suspicion) that
goat or sheep would be better than rabbit in this regard?
