There will be a workshop on reverse genetics at the International Worm
Meeting Thursday at 4 o'clock. One of the topics to be discussed is
gene knockout using chemical mutagens, according to the general scheme
proposed by Tautz and Wood (abstract 315, 1991 meeting
<http://eatworms.swmed.edu/htbin/wbgart/[wm91p315]?tautz%2a>). To
facilitate discussion, three of us are making our proposals available
on the WWW before the meeting (admittedly not a LOT before the
meeting). They can be found at:
Leon Avery: <http://eatworms.swmed.edu/~leon/revgen/>
Gary Moulder and Bob Barstead:
<http://snmc01.omrf.uokhsc.edu/revgen/RevGen.html>
Nemapharm: <http://www.nemapharm.com/>
(This last one is not yet working at the time of writing this
message, but is expected to be up before the meeting.)
We may also bring some copies on paper to distribute at the meeting,
but don't rely on this.
