EUKARYOTIC GENETICS
University of Texas at Arlington

The Department of Biology invites applications for a tenure-track
position (ASSISTANT PROFESSOR) in genetics.  Candidates with interests
in any area of eukaryotic genetics are encouraged to apply, but
preference will be given to those using molecular techniques to
study developmental and/or evolutionary processes.   Candidates
must have a Ph.D., postdoctoral experience preferred.  The successful
candidate will participate in undergraduate education, including a
course in introductory genetics, graduate training and establish a
vigorous research program.   UTA, located in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area,
is the second largest university in the UT System.  The Department
offers B.S., M. S. and Ph.D. degrees.  Submit a curriculum vitae,
statement of research in progress and long term research goals, reprints,
