Lecturer (Extendible Tenure)

The Position:  Located in the Department of Genetics in the
Faculty of Science you will develop an active research
program to attract external research funding and Honours and
graduate students.  You will be actively involved in the
Department's teaching programs and make a contribution to the
administrative duties within the Department.

The Person:  You will be a Geneticist with a Ph.D.,  have
postdoctoral experience and demonstrated research and
tertiary teaching skills to enhance the Department's broadly
based research, supervision and teaching programmes.

The Benefits:  Salary:   $45,883 - $54,487 p.a.   (Lecturer,
Level B) plus 17 per cent employer superannuation
contributions.  Campus car parking and  salary packaging
available.  Appointment at Senior Lecturer (Level C) may be
considered for an outstanding candidate.

The Duration:  This position is available for a period of 5
years, in the first instance.
