The Laboratory for Physiology and Genetics of Development of the Institute
for Developmental Biology of Marseille (IBDM) is seeking to recruit up to
two group leaders. Successful candidates, with outstanding achievements in
any field of Developmental Biology and a wish to interact with other
scientists, are expected to establish a dynamic research programme with a
profound and original impact in their field. Knowledge of French is not
required.
The IBDM hosts over 20 independent research groups working on a variety of
animal models. Groups enjoy a friendly and interactive atmosphere, a high
level of scientific freedom and cutting-edge core facilities, all of which
have contributed to establish the IBDM as a centre of excellence in
Developmental Biology. In addition, the Institute benefits from fruitful
interactions with the neighbouring Centre for Immunology of Marseille
