Embryo protein Extraction

I am trying to extract total protein from C. elegans embryos.
I collect embryos from 4 5cm NGM plates, and treat them with bleach
solution.
After sonication in SDS Sample loading buffer I end up with less then 0.1
mg/ml protein.

Is there a known protocol for a successful extraction ?
