The quality of water for NGM plates

?Hi all,

Has anyone used tapped water purified only through ion exchanger for making
NGM plates? Our distiller system is now out of order and we are wondering if
ion-exchanged water can be used for making good NGM plates, which we
definitely need to obtain good and reproducible results on sensory
behavioral assays.
