digital video equipment

Could anyone recommend a good digital video camera (and software)
to be used for capturing images of worms on a dissecting microscope.
Ideally we would like to be able to use the images for analyzing
behavioral mutants i.e. movement, defecation, pharyngeal pumping etc.
We have tried a Sony EXwaveHD color camera hooked up to an iMac
but would like something with better resolution.

Many thanks
