Subject: Position available: C. elegans Genetics Core at MGH

A position as Co-Director is available in the C. elegans Genetics 
Core at Massachusetts General hospital at the level of Senior 
Research Scientist.  The C. elegans Core designs and undertakes C. 
elegans experiments for researchers interested in development, 
neurodegeneration and cancer, as well as other fields.  As 
Co-Director, you will be involved in every aspect of Core activities: 
helping researchers design C. elegans experiments, undertaking 
experiments and supervising technicians who work for the Core.  This 
position will encourage intellectual growth, managerial skill 
development and participation in an interactive environment. 
The Co-Director position requires a Ph.D., M.S. or equivalent degree. 
Considerable practical experience with C. elegans is absolutely 
required.  The ideal candidate will have broad interests in biology, 
as well as experience with various genetic and molecular techniques. 
Excellent communications skills, good organizational skills and a 
desire to work in an interactive group environment are also required.
