Clones

This is a legitimate query from a non-scientist concerning current work
on the cloning of humans.  Can anyone tell me where such work is currently
done and how they might be contacted?  I realize that many of you reading this
will think me a looney toon and too influenced by science fiction but if there
is work being done I would like to know about it.  Since I do not regularly
read this newsgroup, please e-mail your response.  Thanks.
