POST-DOCTORAL POSITION IN PLANT CELL BIOLOGY
The Pennsylvania State University

A post-doctoral associate is sought to complement a team using biochemical,
molecular genetics, and cell biological techniques to examine the function and
morphogenetic impact of microtubules in growing and differentiating plant cells.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant discipline, with an
interest in exploring novel applications of the laser confocal microscope to
examine the rearrangement of MTs in living cells using analog cytochemical
techniques.  Individuals with expertise in microscopy/microtechniques and
protein biochemistry are especially encouraged to apply.  The position is
available for 2 years with the possibility of a third.  Applicants should send a
