protein tyrosine kinases

Hi folks,

Does anyone know if there is a general inducer of tyrosine kinase activity
against which we can test whether our inhibitor is active? This would be
analogous to using PMA stimulation to check that a PKC inhibitor was working.
This would back up negative data we are getting in human fibroblasts
using herbA by proving that the herbA was actually active?

Any advice either general or specific would be appreciated.
Thanks
Ian
