slow FRTL-5 cells

Greetings all,

I'm presently trying to grow some FRTL-5 cells but they are sooooo
sloooow I'm going nuts. I grow them in Coon's modified F12 medium with 5%
calf serum and a battery of hormones (somatostatin, Gly-His-Gly,
transferrin, hydrocortisone, insulin and TSH). Any suggestion to speed
them up would be very welcome.

Alternatively, I would welcome any suggestion about other thyroid-derived
cell lines.
