HISTAMINE DETECTION ASSAY

Hello,

I posted some time ago (in Methods and Reagents) a request for help in
finding histamine assay.  However, the response to that posting was not
enthusiastic... 

I know about IMMUNOTECH ELISA plate (a ~$400 per 1 plate....) but that is 
not what one could buy on a daily base. Could somebody give me a hint? 
Please...?!
