Presentations will focus on biological problems for which a combination of
microscopies [i.e. integrated microscopy] has been used. The speakers will
demonstrate by example the power, potential and limitations of various
microscopical techniques.

Following the symposium, the IMR will be conducting a 2-day workshop. We will be
presenting lectures and provide "hands-on" experience for the following techniques:
* Multiple-photon excitation imaging
* 4D DIC imaging
* Cryo-SEM
* High pressure freezing
* Reversible embeddment for SEM and TEM
Workshop attendence will be limited to 25 participants. A letter of application is
required. Once accepted a fee of $150.00 will be due.
