antibody to human alpha-amylase

Hi.

I am currently in the process of purchasing polyclonal antibody made in rabbit 
to human alpha-amylase from Sigma. I'm wondering if anyone else has used this 
antibody (it's not affinity purified...it's pretty crude) for Western 
analyses. What I'm ultimately trying to determine is what dilution to use for 
my Western detection kit (an alkaline phosphatase kit from Vector Labs). 

Any advice/insight would be greatly appreciated.
