Richard, I have used a 50:50 acetone methanol mix to fix epithelial cells to plastic. I was looking at growth factor receptors, and found that this treatment still allowed antibody recognition of the receptor, but destroyed the ligand binding site. Therefore I suspect this treatment may be a little harsh for your purposes. Hope this helps Mike
