Neutral Red staining..Help!!

Hey there,
I used to use both stains but never simultaneously...neutral red being
a pH sensitive vital dye works with living cells but hoechst, as far as I know
can't get into living cells. You might try photographing the neutral red cells
then fixing them for hoechst afterwards for another shot. Alternatively, a
lysosomal enzyme marker antibody with a fitc or rhodamine secondary might work
for a single shot with dual fluor probes.
