Substance P Signal

The receptor for substance p is a seven tranbmembrane G protien coupled 
receptor, so I assumed that it would result in a calcium flux when 
stimulated.

I tried to stimulate human PMN with 1uM (!) substance p and monitord 
calcium changes with Fura2AM.  I got nothing nada zip.  The cells 
responded fine to FMLP.

The literature seems to have claims on both sides of this.  Can someone 
clue me in??
