why should the serum be good for the bone marrow cells?
Most cytokines are made locally and used locally and do not
appear in active concentrations in the peripheral blood.

about 5-6 years ago there was a paper where people used
the mouse serum to culture murine hybridoma cells after fusion
and they claimed the improvement in the hybridoma clone
frequency.
