Clonetics Endothelial Cells

I've begun using HUVECs from Clonetics, and while I am happy with the cells
I think the "special" media prices are very high.  Does anyone have any
idea or experience with what makes this media "special"?  Before I reinvent
the wheel, has anyone tried to a more conventional endothelial cell media
with or without EC mitogen?
