PENN STATE UNIVERSITY
POSTDOCTORAL POSITION TO STUDY GENE REGULATION IN YEAST

A Postdoctoral position to study the regulation of DNA damage-induced
genes in yeast is available in the Department of Biochemistry and
Molecular Biology at Penn State University. The projects are aimed at
understanding the role of chromatin and TBP-associated factors, TAFs, in
this process (Nature 371:523; ibid. 383:185-188; Cell 90:607). The
highly motivated applicant should have an interest in gene regulation
and have experience in molecular biology, biochemistry or yeast
genetics. PSU has an exceptional group of investigators studying gene
regulation in yeast and mammalian systems. Applicants should send CV,
description of research interests and experience and the names and
addresses of three references to: Dr. Joseph Reese, Dept. of
Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, 203 Althouse Lab, Penn State
University, University Park, PA 16802. email jcr8 at psu.edu. More
information can be obtained about the Dept. and my lab from my web page:
