cell membrane transport

Does anyone know of a means of membrane transport in human cells that
will have an increase in transport rate with an increase in membrane
thickness?

Simple diffusion ruled out because rate of diffusion inversely
proportional to distance crossed over membrane. But I'm wondering if
any, or a combination of any other methods would do it. Methods under
consideration include facilitated diffusion, primary and secondary active
diffusion, and all the -cytosis methods, ( phago-, endo-, exo-, and poto-
)

Thanks,
JJ
