Yes, good luck.  I'm sure you're aware that cells transformed by 
viruses or physical agents usually display a significantly altered 
phenotype, which is part of the definition of what it means to be 
transformed.  With that said, a transforming retrovirus might do the 
trick.  You shouldn't need a selectable marker;  immortality can be 
used to select transformed cells from a primary culture.
