10 ml is way too much Roccal. You're really putting a big stress on your
cells. Not only will it corrode your equipment but the cells will suffer.
10-20 drops Roccal per gallon of water is more like it. Fungus happens.
Amphotericin B can't prevent it all and you need to consider it's effects
on the cultures as well. Different cells are probably affected differently
by Amphotericin B but my primary endothelial and epithelial cultures seem
to do OK with 1 microgram/ml Amphotericin B. I think the recommended dose
is 2.5 microgram/ml but one should do a toxicology study to determine how
high one can go.
