partial hepatectomy

Dear All,

I am looking for a protocol to perform partial hepatectomy (compensatory
hyperplasia) in mice, including all details, like how the mice should be
kept before and after, is fasting needed before the surgery etc, etc.

I know there are several molecule markers for checking liver
regeneration after PH, which is the best in your opinion?

Any additional information is welcomed. Please don't hesitate to drop me
a line if your know something about it.
