HEK293 culturing

Hi there,

	Does anybody have any experience (or knows of where to get info) on
HEK293 cells?  We would like to use them as expression system to purify
a protein of interest and we were told that these cells can grow in
serum-free media without any supplement... but the cells do not seem to
be that happy with the idea.
