elastase assay methods

I am a postgraduate student of Institute of Materia Medica Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and  Peking Union Medical college.. I am working on the subject of inflammation. Now I meet a problem about the method on elastase assay, I want know how to assay the activity of elastase released from activitied neutrophil?The detailed problem on how to dissolve the substrate  of N-succinyl-alanyl-alanyl-alanine-p-nitroanilide. Waiting for your
