Dissociating Cos 7 cells for hanging drop cultures

I'm trying to develop a protocol for producing 500 cell spherical (ish)
clusters of transfected cos cells.  At the moment I'm using un-transfected
cells in 75mm2 flasks and dissociating them with 2 min of trypsin and a lot
of banging BUT the cells don't reaggregate very well.  The hanging drops are
10 and 20 µl each - containing 500 dissociated cells.
Help anyone?  Thanks!
